Swissquote keyed-in model guide

Status: documentation-based preparation; xPortfolios setup and external-file import are not verified. This manual checklist is for Swissquote Pro Portfolio Templates in a partner's enabled institutional configuration. It does not claim a CSV upload feature or prescribe unverified button names.

Swissquote describes templates that can be assigned to clients or groups and rebalanced against allocations in its institutional trading-platform overview. The provider notes that availability varies by office; your firm's enabled product and permissions need confirmation.

Prepare the allocation

Use strategy-dedicated accounts. Confirm whether the selected template applies to the whole account or a separately configured strategy sleeve. A 5% target on a $100,000 account is $5,000; it is $1,000 only if the platform explicitly limits the allocation basis to $20,000. The download cannot establish that limit or preserve unrelated holdings by itself.

Obtain the complete generic CSV or XLSX using your partner access. A generic target of 0.05 means 5%. Keep its decision ID and read the file review guide before creating or changing a template.

Key in and inspect

  1. Ask your administrator to demonstrate the enabled Portfolio Templates workflow and how to preview without sending orders.
  2. Create or select the strategy template using that demonstrated process. Enter the full targets, matching each exact stock listing, share class, ISIN where available, exchange and currency.
  3. Review removed securities at zero and retained weights against the existing template and actual account holdings. Do not substitute CFDs, ADRs or another listing for an unavailable instrument.
  4. Confirm the client or group selection, model allocation basis, cash remainder and existing open orders. Inspect proposed account orders and rounding before any approval.
  5. Keep the proposal review with your firm's decision record. Account assignment, suitability, order approval and execution remain your firm's responsibility.

Qualify the weekly process

Test initial allocation and rotation with explicit exits, a later-joining client, a skipped update, a correction, a repeated model update and unrelated holdings. Use stable decision IDs to distinguish a duplicate download from a new decision. Corrections replace the linked instruction; reconcile any existing fills or pending orders before further action.

Record the Swissquote office, platform version, permissions, exact instruments, allocation basis and outcomes in your trial. Compatibility applies only after that configuration is verified. Integration and verification ยท Shared file review rules.
